Go Study Australia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven State Manager to lead our sales and customer service strategy in your region. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales & Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets, aligned with NextEd’s budget cycle.
- Student Retention & Engagement: Collaborate with the Country Manager to develop effective retention strategies and drive student engagement through various initiatives.
- Course & Product Promotion: Sell courses and Go Study Australia products, assisting students in selecting the right programs and supporting their journey in Australia.
- Team Management & Development: Oversee day-to-day team operations, including scheduling, payroll, and professional development, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring all students receive personalized support, including orientation, job search assistance, and general welfare.
- Marketing Initiatives: Support the marketing team in executing engagement plans, events, and campaigns to increase enrollments and expand the student base.
- Lead generation: Drive lead generation through student-focused events, social networking, and outreach efforts.
- Reporting & Market Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to monitor team performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Managing Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner schools, colleges, accommodation providers, migration services, and other key collaborators to ensure mutually beneficial collaborations, enhance service quality, and drive growth opportunities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education
- Proven experience in sales management, team leadership, and education consultancy
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex immigration matters in an easily understandable way
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Profiency Spanish speaker
- Preferred fluency in other languages (Portuguese, French or Italian)
- Significant experience in marketing or sales to International Students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, partners, and stakeholders
- Knowledge of the international student journey, and needs of international students in Australia ∙ Experience in student counselling and education sales
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality service and meeting sales targets
- Passion for international education and a commitment to supporting students throughout their journey.
- Strong understanding of the ESOS Act and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Experience with CRM systems and data management to maintain accurate records and communication.
PERFORMANCE METRICS:
- Achieve consistent sales targets and drive lead-to-sales conversions.
- Maintain high levels of student satisfaction, ensuring positive student feedback, referrals, and retention.
- Grow the student community and contribute to the overall success of Go Study Australia.
Additional Information:
This position is primarily office-based, but will require attendance at various student engagement activities outside of standard office hours. Flexibility and a commitment to fostering strong student relationships are key aspects of this role.

Student advisor – Japanese Speaker, Sydney and Melbourne
Go Study Australia supports more than 4000 students to study, live and work in Australia each year. We have 14 offices across Europe, Latin America and Australia. We are leaders in Australian education and provide full support for students on their educational journey.
The role of a Student Advisor is primarily focused on student support and mentoring to ensure that all Go Study leads and students have a successful experience in Australia. The Student Advisor will give unbiased, comprehensive information to help students choose a course according to their profile, financial constraints, future aspirations, and interests. This role includes a range of responsibilities and plays a critical role in the Australian journey of Go Study’s clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Introduce a range of courses, student accommodation and homestay.
- Interact with the international students community online and offline to build awareness of Go Study Australia and our services.
- Work within the guidelines as detailed in the ESOS Act.
- Ensure that all students and leads get the best possible service at all times.
- Provide full support for the students coming from overseas.
- Maintain confidentiality in regard to all student data, personal, financial, administration and course-related records, and other documents.
- Use of CRM according to internal policies and procedures
- Maintain a proactive and supportive attitude
- Participate and contribute to the Go Study community and marketing events.
- Organise and attend Events
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position requires work from an office-based location and does not require regular interstate travel.
- This position may require work beyond standard hours depending on market needs.
