What is the donation campaign about?
Due to the current situation in the Valencia region and the areas affected by the DANA, we have been thinking a lot these days about how to contribute and help in a meaningful way.
After considering several options, we have decided to launch A Future for Valencia 🧡, a solidarity project focused on providing direct help to students and educational institutions affected by the crisis.
How many actions will be carried out and how can I participate?
👉 On one hand, we have activated the campaign through GoFundMe where everyone can contribute to the cause. The total amount raised will be donated and handled transparently at all times.
👉 On the other hand, at Go Study Australia, along with our partner Australian schools, we are committed to donating up to A$150 from each course sale for studying in Australia during the months of November and December. If you want to study in Australia, not only will you live the best experience of your life, but you’ll also be helping those most affected by the DANA disaster!
Where will the campaign funds go?
All funds will be allocated to provide essential school materials for students and support schools with the resources to resume education. We focus on providing assistance to various projects and educational centers in the affected areas.
Some of the schools that we will support in their recovery are CEP Lluís Vives de Massanassa, CEE Rosa Llàcer – Centro de Educación Especial de Castellar-L’Oliveral and CEIP Castellar-l’Oliveral.
Who are the partner schools involved in the donation?
The schools participating in the solidarity campaign are Lexis English, ILSC Language Schools and Greenwich College.
What type of courses in Australia do you apply for?
GoStudy, together with our partner schools, will donate up to A$150 from each ELICOS course contracted during the months of November and December 2024.
ELICOS courses (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) are processed through the Student Visa. The courses must have a minimum duration of 12 weeks.
How do I contribute to the cause if I am not ready to book my course?
You can donate your grain of sand at this link. All proceeds will be donated to the affected educational institutions.
