Glimpses of Queensland

Why the Change?

The Queensland Government is cutting transport fares to make travel more affordable for everyone. Steven Miles, Premier of Queensland, highlighted the benefits:

  • Savings for everyone
  • Fewer cars off the road
  • Less congestion
  • Easier to get around

The trial will run for six months. Miles notes, “If this is effective, if it reduces congestion and gets a lot of people back on public transport, then of course we’ll look at making it permanent.”

What’s in It for You?

You’re in luck! Say hello to cheaper daily commutes. Getting around for work, school, or travel just got a lot lighter on your wallet.
