My name is Gabriela, I am from Brazil and have been living in Australia since 2023.

I came with a Work and Holiday Visa to live in Sydney. I always had the dream of having the experience of living in a different country, challenging myself and starting all over again somewhere, and my time finally arrived.

Why would you recommend travelling to Australia?

Amazing landscapes; it is a very safe country, and people are welcoming and super nice. You’ll have the opportunity to meet people from all around the world.

Why did you choose Sydney?

Sydney has everything in the same place (or close by): beaches, mountains, camping, parks, amazing restaurants and bars. It’s a city for every type of people. 

Do you have any tips for future travellers?

Even though it is far, keep your friends and family close. They will help things to be easier.
